North Carolina farmer Billy McDaniel has his hands full these days. As a partner in a tobacco, sweet potato, corn, peanut, soybean and cabbage farm in Whitakers, N.C., there is a lot to manage. That doesn’t stop him and his sixth-generation family farm including his brother, cousin, uncle and mother from continually looking forward and trying new things.
