Advancing Agriculture Through Academic Partnerships
As part of our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, we partner with higher education institutions and university researchers across multiple disciplines to help advance agriculture and support grower success. These academic partnerships provide valuable research, field insights and scientific expertise that help ensure our products and solutions meet the evolving needs of crop and pest management professionals while supporting long-term agricultural sustainability. For example, through collaborations with scientists at U.C. Davis and California Rice, we have supported research exploring the use of over-wintering flooded rice fields to help improve the survival of migratory fish.
Supporting the Next Generation of Agricultural Leaders
Valent is committed to empowering today’s growers and investing in the future of agriculture through education, leadership development and youth engagement. We support organizations such as National FFA, AFA, 4-H and MANRRS to help provide students with educational opportunities, scholarships and hands-on learning experiences that prepare the next generation of agricultural leaders. Through these partnerships, we help create educational resources focused on innovative and sustainable agricultural practices while supporting students from elementary school through college. Valent also hosts Growing Forward Hub filled with agriculture-focused educational resources designed to inspire curiosity and learning across all age groups.

Valent partners with leading agricultural associations, industry organizations and key stakeholders to help address the challenges facing growers and the future of agriculture. Through collaborations with groups such as CropLife America, the American Soybean Association and other industry partners, we support efforts to advance policies and solutions that help growers remain productive, resilient and sustainable. We are also actively engaged with organizations dedicated to the responsible use and stewardship of crop protection products, including The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance and the Agricultural Container Recycling Council.
Partnering With Growers
Growers are at the center of everything we do. Through partnerships with organizations such as SCS Global Services, we help support programs like Sustainably Grown Certification that advance sustainable agriculture practices across the U.S. We also maintain regular communication with growers and customers to better understand their needs, gather feedback and continuously improve our products, services and overall support to help them succeed.
Partnering With Our Communities
Valent is committed to supporting the communities where we live and work through volunteerism, philanthropy and local partnerships. Across the organization, employees come together to provide financial support and volunteer services to a wide range of community-based organizations focused on health, human services and environmental stewardship. This includes ongoing support for food banks across the country, including annual contributions to the Food Bank of Contra Costa, where employees also dedicate their time volunteering to help serve local communities in need.
